compare their cotton growth.

A rescue helicopter team had to be called out Sunday to get
a 40-year-old woman off a mountain in Scottsdale.
Captain Danny Ables of the Scottsdale Fire Department said the woman lost her
way while hiking the Gateway
Trailhead Mountains
in the Scottsdale Preserve.

The Arizona Court of Appeals has upheld the right of a
homeowner to put up a for sale sign, despite a homeowner's association ban. The
ruling comes in the case of Robert and Cecilia Hawk, who bought a lot in a
planned community in Flagstaff
in 2009.

An Arizona woman convicted in connection with the murder of her 4-year-old son in 1989, has been granted bail. Debra Milke is awaiting retrial on the charges. The retrial and bail are the result of a now questionable confession.

Sedona City Council will decide whether it is going to take a stand on light pollution. It votes Monday on a resolution to seek approval from the International Dark-Sky Association. The label would both applaud Sedona’s dark skies and set guidelines to keep them that way.

The small, southeast Arizona
town of Clifton
was a town divided, literally, Sunday morning. The rivers surrounding the
community were overflowing and Town Clerk Esperanza Castaneda says they had to
close the floodgates, dividing the town.

A privately-owned rocket on a supply mission launched this
morning from a small island on the Virginia coast. Aboard are 1,500 pounds of clothes,
food, water and other items for the astronauts on the International Space
Station.
