"Overall, closure is not your goal — but making some meaning out of it, that's your goal when you're a caregiver."

Those were Dr. Pauline Boss's closing words in her interview with KJZZ's Kathy Ritchie about Boss's groundbreaking work on "ambiguous loss."

Tuesday's event at Rio Salado College in Tempe was the capstone on the KJZZ series, "The State of Aging in the Valley," which was supported by AARP Phoenix.
