Assistant Digital Editor

As a Cronkite alum and longtime journalist, Daisy Finch is constantly enveloped in the world of news. She started off as a multimedia reporter and found new passion in digital production while interning at KJZZ 91.5 and working at Cronkite News.

Finch has written print content for Today’s News-Herald, The Entertainer! Magazine, and the West Valley View, as well as digital pieces for phoenix.org, River Scene Magazine and Downtown Devil. As editor-in-chief of her high school paper, she gained a great love of layout design and working on a news team. She has also completed various multimedia projects with audio, photo, and video, as well as data visualization during her time on the Cronkite News digital production team.

Her hobbies include journaling, creating content for her YouTube channel, playing volleyball, and getting emotionally entangled in movies, TV shows and books. Born and raised in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, camping, hiking and boating are all activities that come naturally to her. She is also a proud mother of a betta fish named Xibalba, happy fiancée of a future forensic crime scene investigator, and avid admirer of houseplants.
