The National Police Foundation released a report on 2018 officer involved shootings in Phoenix.

Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego, Police Chief Jeri Williams and other city leaders will hear from residents Tuesday night at a community meeting in the wake of a police video that recently went viral.

The video shows a standoff following shoplifting allegations against a Phoenix family. The mayor has called the actions by officers on the scene “completely inappropriate and clearly unprofessional.”

To talk about the meeting, The Show reached out to Viri Hernandez, director of the advocacy group Poder in Action.
