Arizona Public Service has made headlines this summer for their policy to shut off power to customers who are late to paying their bills. That led to a policy change implemented by the Arizona Corporation Commission, which regulates the utility.

Members of the commission also want to hear from the head of APS, Don Brandt, though he hasn’t replied positively to those requests.

On Wednesday, it was revealed that APS is making significant changes to its messaging team. Vice President of Communications John Hatfield is moving on, and Jessica Pacheco is being elevated to vice president of external affairs.

To talk about these moves, Jeremy Duda of the Arizona Mirror joined The Show.
