A fire in Kingman destroyed six homes Sunday night.

High winds spread the fire in a mobile home park on Devlin Avenue. The Kingman Fire Department and other crews had to shuttle water back and forth from fire hydrants “located a distance from the scene.”

The firefighters were able to get the fire under control after the blaze ripped through six homes.

The American Red Cross volunteers helped three families and were looking for the other families who might be affected. No injuries have been reported.

Authorities are still investigating the fire’s cause.
