Arizona 'Air Raid:' Cardinals To Debut New-Look Offense

The Arizona Cardinals will play in one of the most anticipated openers since the NFL franchise moved to Arizona more than 30 years ago.
After a miserable season last year, the Cardinals used the first overall pick in the NFL draft on quarterback Kyler Murray. Along with a new first-year head coach, Murray faces lots of questions on how effective the rookie can be. The quietly confident Murray says the team knows the plan.
"Now it’s just time to put it all out there," Murray said. "And like I said, let the chips fall. I know they’re ready to go, I know I’m ready to go. So it should be fun."
Longtime Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald isn’t worried.
“He’s as ready as any of us," Fitzgerald said. "He’s been built for this situation. He’s been groomed since he was a child to be a starting QB in the National Football League. You guys laugh, but honestly, that’s his mentality. That’s his mindset. He’s ready for this.”
New head coach Kliff Kingsbury did not preview the "Air Raid" offense he brought with him from the college ranks during the preseason.
So how does he know it will work?
"Because it’s never been used before in the NFL," Kingsbury said. "There’s only one way to find out. Nobody really knows what we’re gonna do or what it’s gonna look like. So we’ll take it one game at a time.”
