Winter storm closes Flagstaff schools, Interstate 40

March 19, 2012

Arizona will feel the lingering effects of a late-winter storm that brought gusting winds and sporadic rain and hail to lower elevations. Snow blanketed northern Arizona. Flagstaff is digging out from two feet of snow that shut down Interstate 40.  Classes are canceled at local public schools, even Northern Arizona University. KJZZ's Dennis Lambert spoke with Gillian Ferris Kohl of K-N-A-U, Arizona Public Radio in Flagstaff, about the impact of the late-winter storm.
