Climate change is a national security issue. The Pentagon acknowledged that flooding, drought and extreme storms can disrupt U.S. military capabilities and threaten military facilities worldwide.
Retired Air Force Lt. General Dirk Jameson spoke about the subject Thursday morning at ASU’s Julie Ann Wrigley Global Institute of Sustainability. Jameson was commander of the Air Force nuclear weapon program.
The Show asked him whether he’s determined that climate change is as great a threat as nuclear weapons.
