Sitting around the dinner table on holidays with family members, maybe some you don’t see all that often, can also often lead to arguing.

With impeachment proceedings playing out in Washington and politics in general as vitriolic as ever, things can get ugly.

The Show turned to someone who can help you figure out how to be civil with your family members this holiday season, even the ones you can’t stand. Clark Olson is a professor in the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication at ASU and the founding director of the Institute for Civil Dialogue.
