Over the last few years, KJZZ's Kathy Ritchie has been covering aging issues, but for Kathy, her work was also personal.

Her mother had frontotemporal degeneration, a lesser known type of dementia, and passed away in 2014.

Now, Kathy has produced a podcast about life after dementia called "The Recovering Caregiver."

Kathy joined The Show to talk about her journey.
