Arizona’s flu season continues unabated.

Jessica Rigler with Arizona Department of Health Services said over 900 new cases were reported in just the last week.

“We typically don’t see that many reported in a week," said Rigler, "So we’re over 100% more reported this week than in this same week last season. If you look overall, we’re about 300% higher so far this year than we typically are at this same time.”

Since Oct. 14, the Department of Health Services has reported nearly 4,400 cases of flu in the state.
