AZ Senate approves booster seat bill

April 18, 2012

A bill that would require booster seats for some Arizona car passengers is advancing in the state legislature.

MARK BRODIE: The Arizona Senate on Wednesday approved a bill that would require kids younger than eight, and shorter than 4-9 to sit in booster seats while riding in cars. Arizona is currently one of three states that doesn’t mandate that. The senate’s 19-10 vote means the bill will next go to the governor.
