Meth Production, Trafficking Has Increased Threefold Since 2017

DEA reports indicate the production and trafficking of methamphetamine has increased nearly threefold since 2017.

The border between Arizona and Mexico provides routes vital to the cartels for getting their products to major distribution points like Phoenix, Las Vegas and Denver. 

Vegas-based journalist John L. Smith recently broke down the spike in meth trafficking in the region and he joined The Show to discuss the causes.
