Federal prosecutors say Mexican authorities have handed over the last suspect wanted for the 2010 murder of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.

The Justice Department says more than two years passed since Mexican authorities arrested Jesus Rosario Favela-Astorga in connection with the killing. But now he’s been handed over to federal authorities.

Favela-Astorga is one of seven members of a so-called rip crew set up to rob smugglers in the Arizona desert. The gang got into a fire-fight with Terry’s elite Border Patrol unit in December 2010, when the former Marine and Detroit police officer was fatally shot.

Prosectors say Favela-Astorga’s co-defendants have all been convicted or pleaded guilty. The most recent was given a life sentence in January.
