China is no longer the U.S.'s largest trading partner. Mexico is.

New numbers from the U.S. Department of Commerce show a record level of trade with our neighbor to the south — some $614.5 billion in exports and imports.

Canada came in a close second with just a couple billion dollars less in trade.

Trade with China fell 15%. That’s about $100 billion less that last year when it was the top trading partner of the United States.
