Democratic state lawmakers have released their budget proposal — "the people’s budget," as House Minority Leader Charlene Fernandez is calling it.

Democrats are hopeful they’ll still get a seat at the table to settle the final budget, but is that realistic? They’ve been left out in years past, and Republicans got a head start without them when they started this year’s budget process months before the session began.

Julia Shumway of the Arizona Capitol Times joined The Show to talk about what Democrats want and whether they’ll see results this time around.
