How Effective Are Government Updates About The Coronavirus?

President Donald Trump and members of the Coronavirus Task Force have been holding news conferences on a daily basis with updates about infection rates and precautionary measures that the government suggests or will enforce.

In Arizona, Gov. Doug Ducey and Dr. Cara Christ, the director of the Arizona Department of Health Services, have made regular appearances to provide information and perspectives on how the state is handling and preparing for COVID-19's impact here.

The Show spoke to Bradley Adame, an associate professor at ASU’s School of Human Communication and a faculty member in ASU’s Center for Strategic Communication, about how effective these messages have been in providing information.
