President Donald Trump is coming to Arizona next week, despite Gov. Doug Ducey’s decision to extend his stay-at-home order through mid-May.

Trump mused about the idea of returning to Arizona and Ohio during a roundtable meeting with business leaders Wednesday.

Trump wouldn’t say exactly when he expects to be able to resume his rallies, but said it will depend in part on the state.

“Hopefully in the not-too-distant future we’re going to have some massive rallies and people will be sitting next to each other,” he said. “I can’t imagine a rally where you have every other fourth seat full.”

The White House has confirmed the president plans to arrive in Phoenix on May 5.

The president reportedly will be in visit a Honeywell facility in Phoenix next Tuesday to highlight critical medical equipment production and the addition of 500 manufacturing jobs in Arizona.

The Arizona visit will mark the first time Trump has left the White House since late March.
