Effective June 1, visitors to the Phoenix Municipal Court will be required to wear either a mask, face shield or face covering.

That includes members of the general public, parties to cases, attorneys, staff and judges.

The order comes from the state Supreme Court, which directed all subordinate courts to take necessary measures to protect staff from COVID-19 infection.

Those without face coverings will be barred from entering the building.
