The Sawtooth Fire is burning east of the Superstition Mountains.

Two wildfires are burning in the north and eastern regions of the Phoenix area.

The Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management says "the human-caused Ocotillo Fire started Saturday afternoon off Ocotillo Road, northwest of Cave Creek."

The department says 500 people were evacuated over the weekend and 10 structures were damaged in the fire.

As of Monday afternoon, the fire was 980 acres and 67% contained.

A spokesperson for the Department said evacuation orders for the area will be lifted at noon on Tuesday.

East of the Superstition Mountains, the Sawtooth Fire is 3,500 acres and only 5% contained. A Tonto National Forest spokesperson said the fire was caused by lightning and is threatening two ranches in the area.
