On Monday, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid released information on the impact of coronavirus in nursing homes across the country. That data includes figures from Arizona.

The new numbers came out just a few days after an Arizona judge ruled that state health officials did not have to disclose the names of facilities with confirmed COVID-19 cases.

Only 69 out of 143 medicare-and-medicaid certified nursing facilities in Arizona provided the information. Of that, 227 residents were diagnosed with COVID-19 and 88 have died.

Staff were also hit hard. Nearly 372 workers contracted the virus.

Centers for Medicare said it would post more information later this week and the data will be searchable by facility name.
