Police in Scottsdale arrested eight more people in connection with the looting at Fashion Square mall that prompted Gov. Ducey to issue a curfew two weekends ago.

Sgt. Ben Hoster says the arrests came after people were found trying to resell the stolen goods.

“We had several cases where the individuals were trying to sell it on the street or through OfferUp or other online sites or other avenues, where detectives were able to catch up with them that way," Hoster said. "Our investigation is ongoing and we will continue to seek to bring many more to justice related to those crimes.”

So far, Scottsdale police have arrested 34 individuals connected to the looting.
