President Donald Trump will visit Arizona on Tuesday. The president will tour border wall construction in Yuma before heading to Phoenix for a campaign rally.

The rally in Phoenix will be hosted by a group called Students For Trump at the Dream City Church in north Phoenix.

A spokesperson for the church says they will be handing out masks and taking temperatures of attendees.

In a statement, Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego said the event was not sanctioned or permitted by the city and it does not abide by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines related to COVID-19.

Gallego said all people attending the rally, including the President, should wear a mask.

A group of Democrats from the district where the rally will be held delivered a petition to Governor Ducey asking him to postpone the rally.

Ducey is listed as a special guest for the event.
