Scottsdale police have made eight more arrests in connection with the looting at Scottsdale Fashion Square late last month, bringing the total to 44.

Sgt. Ben Hoster says the recent arrests included a mix of adults and juveniles, several of whom were caught trying to sell the stolen property.

"[We made] quite a few arrests, a lot of property was recovered, and we’re continuing with this investigation," Hoster said. "One individual was charged with possessing a firearm when he was a prohibited possessor, so we’re happy to get him back into custody, because he’s a dangerous individual."

Those arrested face charges ranging from burglary to trafficking in stolen property.
