Another Hot, Dry Week Ahead Across Arizona

The weather won’t be getting any nicer this week.

National Weather Service meteorologist Larry Hopper says to expect temperatures well into the triple digits for much of the week, and still, no monsoon storms for a while.

“It’ll moderate a bit for the middle of the workweek, we might be able to drop down a few degrees below 110," Hopper said. "Then we’re expecting, most likely, we’ll have a pretty significant warmup going into next weekend. We’re currently expecting conditions to remain pretty dry at least into next weekend. At some point we’ll probably start to get a return of moisture from the south and the east.”

Flagstaff and the high country will see temperatures between the 80s and 90s all week, with slight chances of rain.
