Raúl Grijalva and Daniel Wood are running for Arizona's 3rd Congressional District.

Third Congressional District Democratic U.S. Rep. Raul Grijalva participated in an Arizona PBS debate with Republican challenger Daniel Wood, which aired Monday night.

During the forum, Grijalva characterized his opponent as, “... someone that has the philosophy of Donald Trump, that sees the pandemic as a hoax, that doesn’t believe in climate science.”

Wood, a retired Marine and political novice, said President Trump has done more than ever to combat the pandemic.

“He did the best he could do with the limited resources he could do because of previous administrations, because of previous politicians and leaving us with limited resources, and he took it and he ran with it,” said Wood.

When pressed by a moderator about Trump’s tax returns, Wood also said he doesn’t believe mainstream news.
