Over the last weekend before Election Day, U.S. Senate candidates Mark Kelly and Martha McSally traveled all across Arizona to stump for votes.

Appearing in Scottsdale with his wife, former Rep. Gabby Giffords, Democratic Senate candidate Mark Kelly urged dozens of volunteers to keep up their efforts to turn out voters ahead of Tuesday’s election.

“This election, this U.S. Senate race, CD-6, House races, State Senate races, are all going to be won on a small margin," Kelly said. "And a lot of those ballots are still sitting on somebody’s kitchen table.”

Volunteers like Owen Clements who showed up for this canvass from Marin County, California, said it was more about getting people to actually return their ballots and vote.

“A lot of people have ballots in their hands, and they need to know that they can drop them off on Monday or Tuesday, they don’t have to wait in a long line, they can fill them out at home," Clements said. "They don’t have to stand in 90 degree weather, and wait for two hours to vote.”

Kelly has maintained a consistent lead over incumbent Sen. Martha McSally in public polling, but he insists the race is a lot closer on the ground.

Joined by Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, McSally told a crowd at a Casa Grande park to re-elect her and prevent Democrats from seizing control of the Senate.

Cruz told a small crowd that a McSally loss to Democrat Mark Kelly would put Republican’s Senate majority in jeopardy.

"The eyes of the entire country are fixed on the state of Arizona," Cruz said. "And the men and women of Arizona find yourselves in the position of deciding whether America goes towards tyranny or towards liberty."

McSally also warned her election could help shield against a Democratic Senate majority.

"This isn't about me," she said. "At this point, it's my mission to stand on the wall with all of you, in order to stop the radical left from taking over."

McSally’s campaign has five more rallies planned to Get Out The Vote today.
