Public health experts are urging people to eat their Thanksgiving dinners outside this year to minimize the potential spread of the coronavirus.

Fortunately in Arizona, the weather this week will make eating outside nicer than eating inside.

National Weather Service meteorologist Andrew Deemer says the temperatures this week will be perfect for al fresco dining.

“We’re going to see at least above normal temperatures pretty much through the week, but we will see a slight cool-down, and we should reach the mid 70s, maybe early to mid-week," Deemer said. "Looking forward to Thanksgiving, we’re looking for some pretty nice weather. So, I know folks, if you’re going to be eating outside, there’s going to be some nice weather for that.”

Low temperatures in the Phoenix area will be dropping down into the 50s and upper 40s this week. In the high country, it’ll get even colder, with lows into the 20s.
