The coronavirus is still blazing across Arizona.

The Arizona Department of Health Services is reporting more than 7,700 new cases Monday. And historically, Mondays have had a lower count due to a lag in weekend reporting.

To date, nearly 8,000 Arizonans have died from the virus. This comes as hospitals are reaching near full capacity with ICU bed usage at 92%.

Marcy Flanagan, executive director of Maricopa County Department of Public Health, joined The Show to provide the latest on the spread of the virus.
