How The Governor's Patio Expansion Program Is Going So Far For Arizona Restaurants

Gov. Doug Ducey is expanding his statewide program to help Arizona restaurants expand their patios and outdoor seating areas amid the pandemic.

He announced this week that an additional $1 million will go toward this program, which the governor first announced in December and has already invested $3 million in.

To find out how it’s worked on the ground, The Show spoke with Valley restaurateur Nick Campisano, who owns Clever Koi, Fellow and Across the Pond. He was on The Show earlier this month to ago to talk about taking advantage of the program — and working to keep guests safe even as COVID-19 numbers here remain high.
