Arizona is coming off one of its worst wildfire seasons in nearly a decade.
The Arizona Department of Forestry reports nearly a million acres burned last year, many of them in the central part of the state.
Investigators say that more than 80% of those fires were human caused.
A poor monsoon made a dry summer worse and pushed fire season into the fall.
Although last year was bad, more than a million acres burned in 2011.
