Yuma County has been a hot spot for COVID-19 in Arizona; it has the fourth-most number of infections among counties in the state since the start of the pandemic.
Amanda Aguirre says her facilities tested more than 97,000 people in Yuma County, both in drive-through settings and on site for businesses.
Aguirre is the president and CEO of the Regional Center for Border Health, which serves the Yuma, La Paz and Mohave counties. The Show spoke with her for more about where things stand right now in Yuma County in terms of vaccines.
