For the first time since the pandemic began, a survey conducted by OH Predictive Insights shows a majority of Arizona voters are optimistic about the coronavirus situation in the next 30 days.

Chief of Research Mike Noble says out of the 690 voters surveyed, the most optimistic were Republicans.

"Democrats currently, 80% of them, believe [COVID-19] is extremely or moderately concerning, regarding the spread, compared to just 40% Republicans. And with independents, unsurprisingly in the middle at 57%.''

The March survey found 52% of voters are optimistic, as opposed to 18% that believe it will get worse. This is a dramatic reversal from the January survey that showed only 24% were optimistic.
