What It's Like To Run For Congress Without Knowing Who's In Your District

Arizona’s Independent Redistricting Commission (IRC) is in the early stages of its work of redrawing the state’s congressional districts in time for the race leading up to the 2022 midterm election. Complicating matters even further is the fact the state will add a 10th Congressional District because of population increases confirmed by the census.

Even with that uncertainty, though, some candidates have already announced they’re running in the 2nd Congressional District in southern Arizona.

To discuss what’s it like to run for Congress — without knowing with certainty what your district will cover — The Show spoke with political consultant Joe Wolf.
