On Sept. 9, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum will hold its annual — unless there’s a pandemic — induction ceremony to honor the latest entrants into the pantheon of the sport. The hall of fame is in Cooperstown in upstate New York and attracts fans from all over the world to learn more about baseball history.

So how does someone go from being involved with the hectic, up-and-down daily operations of a Major League Baseball team as a senior vice president to moving across the country to a quaint town in the eastern time zone? That’s what The Show asked Josh Rawitch about.

Rawitch is giving up his longtime position as senior vice president of content and communications with the Arizona Diamondbacks to become the next president of the Baseball Hall of Fame.

The Show spoke with him to learn what prompted this career switch-up.
