The so-called audit of the 2020 presidential election in Maricopa County that Republicans in the Arizona state Senate are conducting is coming to a head.

The Senate plans to hear an update July 15 from its main contractor, Cyber Ninjas — the company that has no experience in election audits and is run by a man who posted election-related conspiracies online.

Senate President Karen Fann recently said that the number of ballots the Cyber Ninjas have tallied doesn’t match the official count from the county, and she ordered yet another recount of the ballots.

To break down the latest, The Show spoke with Jeremy Duda, associate editor at the Arizona Mirror.
