Cyber Ninjas CEO Doug Logan (from left), Senate Liaison Ken Bennett and CyFIR founder Ben Cotton brief GOP state senators July 15, 2021, on their review of the 2020 election in Maricopa County.

Election watchers across the country anticipated the release of the results of the so-called audit of Maricopa County’s 2020 ballots Aug. 23.

And they’ll continue to wait as organizers announced Doug Logan, the CEO of Cyber Ninjas, has contracted COVID-19.

He and two other members of the audit team are also reported to be “quite sick.”

Cyber Ninjas is the Florida-based IT firm that has been tasked with leading the controversial audit.

Julia Shumway is the state senate reporter with the Arizona Capitol Times. The Show spoke with her to learn about the significance of this second delay.
