Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey’s office has issued an emergency declaration to address post-wildfire flooding in Coconino County.

In July, the Flagstaff area was hit with heavy rains, which resulted in flooding, and prompted the governor to declare a state of emergency.

Last week, it was hit with another storm, a 200-year rainfall event that caused more flooding.

Both storms fell on the Museum Fire burn scar.

The governor’s declaration means the area will qualify for funding and help from state agencies with cleanup, traffic control and repair.
