Under court order, the Arizona Senate has released a bundle of documents relating to the audit of the 2020 presidential election in Maricopa County.

Despite this data dump, the Republican-led senate argued in court Sept. 1 they need to keep private nearly 3,000 emails and text messages sent by state lawmakers and Cyber Ninja officials.

Julia Shumway has been covering the so-called audit for the Arizona Capitol Times.
