Researchers Explore The Effects Of 'Zoom Fatigue'

Over the past few months, more people have returned to office work and spent time with colleagues in person.

But the video conferences and Zoom meetings that have dominated many businesses for a year and half continue, to the chagrin of many.

How has staring at screens and seeing co-workers only via cameras affected us?

Allison Gabriel, a professor in the University of Arizona's Eller College of Management, was part of a team led by University of Georgia professor Kristin Shockley that studied what they called "Zoom fatigue."

The Show spoke with Gabriel to learn about the process and conclusions.
