Gov. Doug Ducey, along with 25 other Republican governors, sent a letter to President Joe Biden this week, asking for a meeting to talk about the situation at the country’s southern border.

In the letter, the governors say they want to “bring an end to the national security crisis created by eight months of unenforced borders,” and that they’d like an “open and constructive dialogue regarding border enforcement.”

But is that possible in the current political climate, especially with what’s currently happening at the border?
