Gov. Doug Ducey said he is “reviewing” his options regarding a possible sanction against the state’s three public universities that are now requiring all employees to receive the COVID-19 vaccine before Dec. 8.

Ducey has repeatedly said he is anti-mandate, but still encourages Arizonans to get the vaccine and that it is safe. He just thinks it should be a personal choice.

The decision from universities was in compliance with a new presidential order, but Ducey sees this as being against his wishes.
