Author Lena Nguyen traverses galaxies to explore human psychology in her debut novel

Science fiction novels and other kinds of entertainment can often lead us into dystopian futures that mostly leave optimism and sunshine behind. And the merging of sci-fi and horror is a combination that may result in even darker tones.

The book is set on a spaceship with a psychologist at its center, and relationships between humans and androids play a key role.
The Show spoke with Nguyen to learn about the novel and how it got started.
