State health officials have announced a recall of 11 marijuana products to protect Arizonans from possible salmonella and mold contamination.

There have so far been no instances of people getting sick.

The state health department is warning people not to consume certain marijuana edible and distillate products made by brands named Baked Bros and Toasted.

Officials said state auditors did a normal inspection of an outside laboratory and found cannabis samples that tested positive for salmonella and mold had been wrongly reported to dispensaries as contaminant-free.

When the companies were told, they chose to recall the products.

This is at least the second marijuana recall in Arizona this year over salmonella and mold. Other brands of cannabis plant products that are typically called flower were called back in June.
