The teams have been selected for the 2022 Playstation Fiesta Bowl, where Notre Dame will take on Oklahoma State at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on New Year’s Day.

Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman spoke to ESPN about the matchup.

“I can’t tell you how excited I am as the head coach of this football program, and as we will be as a football team to go take on Oklahoma State in the Fiesta Bowl,” said Freeman.

Arizona State University will also participate in a bowl game, travelling to Nevada to play in the Las Vegas Bowl to play Wisconsin on Dec. 30.

Central Michigan and Boise State will meet in Tucson at the Arizona Bowl on New Year’s Eve.
