How immersive art galleries help viewers see 'an old master in a new way'

For most of us, the experience of looking at art is a static one. But increasingly, technology and the desire for audience expansion have led to a more creative approach.

"Immersive Van Gogh," a large-scale video display of the famous Dutch artist's work, is on display in cities across the United States, including in Scottsdale where it's been extended through March.

It's been wildly successful, but is it art, and does that matter?

To find out, The Show spoke with Amanda Kehrberg, a media studies professor at Arizona State University.
