Pictures of baseball players have been scrubbed from the websites of major league teams they work for during a six-week-old lockout executed by club owners.

Exhibition games for Major League Baseball teams that hold spring training in Arizona are scheduled to start on Feb. 26th.

To avoid a delay, team owners and players have about a month left to reach a deal on a new collective bargaining agreement.

Talks resumed last week after a lengthy hiatus. Observers noted little apparent progress after the owners made a proposal and players agreed only to reply.

A shortened or canceled spring training would be the third disruption in as many years to a key source of the state’s tourism money.
