The U.S. Department of Transportation is giving more than $350,000 in grants to Arizona’s tribal nations.

The money is part of a program to help rural tribes improve their transportation systems.

The White Mountain Apaches will receive $100,000 for their transit service.

The bipartisan infrastructure bill that passed last year included increased funding for tribal communities.
