The number of cyberattacks — and their intensity — is growing across the U.S. and the rest of the world.

Earlier this month, the International Committee of the Red Cross reported that data from more than half a million people had been stolen by hackers. And the 2021 holiday season presented dramatic challenges for organizations, businesses and cybersecurity experts.

CNN reported that on Jan. 26, the Biden administration is going to unveil a new cybersecurity strategy for federal agencies in response to attacks. Agencies and employees will need to meet certain benchmarks by 2024.
